MIND THE SCAP: A THREE-PART SCAPULAR POSITIONING WORKSHOP $89

This course teaches you ALL about the versatile scapulothoracic joint and its integral role in movement arts. HYPERMOBILITY IN PERFORMING ARTS $49

Hypermobility is more common in performing arts than almost every other sport, and it comes with its fair share of stereotypes and misconceptions. This 2 hour workshop covers the spectrum of hypermobility disorders in an easily digestible manner. It also discusses the common myths surrounding hypermobility, and separates truth from #fakenews. Additionally, it covers the implications of hypermobility on performing arts, from both a student and coaching perspective, to better equip our community with the knowledge and tools needed to meet performing arts-related goals without injury.

HANDSTAND DIAGNOSTICS $35

This all-levels workshop discusses the most common biomechanical roadblocks to achieving a strong, straight handstand line, and — most importantly — what to DO about it! From head to toe, we cover specific drills to improve each potential problem area involved in the handstand. You’ll leave this 90 minute workshop with a clear understanding of WHAT your biomechanical issues are, WHY they’re so stubborn, and what specific drills to focus on to bust through those plateaus.

SHOULDER SAVVY $49

This pre-recorded, 2-hour workshop is based around my standardized shoulder assessment. This was originally engineered specifically to pick up all the areas of weakness & injury risk that a “normal” (non-circus) physio doesn’t typically include in their assessments. I’ll lead you through each specific shoulder test – with clear pass/fail criteria – to help uncover your shoulder’s areas of vulnerability to injury. Then, after each test, we’ll discuss how you can best address that problem area to decrease your injury risk and optimize performance. At the end of the workshop, you will have a comprehensive injury-prevention plan of exercises, mobility drills, and stretches specific to YOU and your body!

This 90-minute course will discuss all of the different causes for the microbend, so you can FULLY grasp how to GET RID OF IT! After we discuss and test for the different causes, we’ll spend the remainder of our time together going over specific drills that help eliminate each individual barrier, so you can achieve your BEST inversion, leg lift, handstand, or whatever your specific goals are!

AERIAL SHOULDERS: CURATING YOUR PERFECT WARM-UP $45

This two-hour workshop will teach you how to create your PERFECT shoulder warm up to ensure that you NEVER get bored *and* that you’re always minimizing your injury risk. First, we discuss the KEY movement categories that should be included in all warm ups to optimize for injury prevention. Then, we fill in our aerial warm up outline with the most efficient and aerial-specific drills for each category. By the end of the workshop, you will have everything you need to create your own “mix & match” aerial warm up & NEVER get bored!
